Will Carnival Ride be as succesful as the monster Some Hearts? As of this posting Carnvival RIde has sold about 2,275,792(2x platinum) compared to Some Hearts' 6,510,000(7x platinum) which is a huge difference.
Some Hearts Singles - "Inside Your Heaven"
"Jesus, Take the Wheel
"Some Hearts"
"Don't Forget to Remember Me"
"BEFORE HE CHEATS"( Most Succesfull)
"Wasted"
I think the songs that made that album sell so many units were Before He Cheats and Jesus Take The Wheel.
Carnival Ride Singles (to date) : "So Small"
"All-American Girl"
"Last Name"
"Just a Dream"
I believe that Just A Dream is such an amazing song that it will make people want to go out and purchase the CD.I also think that the tried to re-create the success of Before He Cheats with Last Name but didnt quite succeed. But Just A Dream will be a huge success cause Carrie sings it with such power and it is personal to many people.
This is my opinion what do you guys think?

FYI, Carnival Ride has sold over 2M copies and Some Hearts over 6M copies. Does anyone know home many singles CU has sold?

It looks like I was right lol Just A Dream did help the CD sell more copies it jumped 16 spots on the weeks Billboard Top 200 Albums from #54 to #38. Thus selling 2.29 million copies so far.... GO CARRIE!!! lol

Yeah Carnival ride is 2x platinum in the US but I don't know worldwide. Hopefully the albums sales pick up!

How did it sell 6 million copies?? Maybe world wide yeah, but Im talking about sales in the US.
Yeah Carnival Ride has some awesome , amazing songs and it will probably sell alot more copies when more songs are released.
Accutally Carvial ride already sold over 6.000.000 M copies dont you know that?

Yeah I agree with you, I think Just A Dream will be/is a huge hit off of Carnival Ride! I think the slow economy is a big part of why album sales are down. I think Carrie still has some of the best songs on Carnival Ride that havent been released yet, so you never know it could sell a few million more when different songs get out there!!!
