Underwood music video filming near Hampshire

HAMPSHIRE — Country music sensation and Nashville resident Carrie Underwood filmed scenes for a music video near Hampshire in Maury County Monday.

Underwood was at work on the video for her new single, “Just A Dream,” from her current multi-platinum selling album, “Carnival Ride,” Arista Records/Sony BMG publicist Chris Melancon said.

The video was shot on a closed set off Cathrell Road, and a Maury County Sheriff’s deputy had blocked off the road. A request by The Daily Herald for access to the set was declined.

Chief Deputy Ashley Brown confirmed a deputy had been hired by a production company to secure the area. Brown said the deputy was under contract until midnight Tuesday.

Underwood is scheduled to be in Birmingham, Ala., for a concert Tuesday
