Carrie Underwood To Headline First-Ever Concerts In Australia And United Kingdom This Summer On “The Blown Away Tour”

Nashville, TN – (May 6, 2012) – Carrie Underwood will head overseas this summer to perform for the first time headline concert dates in Australia and the United Kingdom in late June to coincide with the release of her new album BLOWN AWAY. The new CD was released May 4 in Australia, and a special UK edition will be released there on June 18. These international shows on “The Blown Away Tour” are sponsored by Olay.

Carrie’s UK show, which sold out in 90 minutes, will be held at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall on June 21.

Her Australia tour dates will take her to Melbourne, Tamworth, Brisbane, and Sydney, wrapping at the iconic Sydney Opera House. Carrie made her first promotional visit to Australia last summer in support of the release of PLAY ON: DELUXE EDITION, which went on to reach Gold certification status in Australia.
