The Country Music Association announced today that Carrie Underwood will perform at the 2015 CMA Music Festival in Nashville as part of the LP Field Nightly Concerts on Sat., June 13. The appearance caps a week of performances marking the close of her first decade in country music, after winning American Idol in 2005 and playing her inaugural CMA Music Fest less than a month later. The event also extends the celebration begun with the release of the 25-track Greatest Hits: Decade #1 album, bringing Carrie full circle to the place where it all began.
Carrie’s week kicks off at the Grand Ole Opry as she returns to the stage on Tuesday, June 9, for two star-packed shows. With the week being all about the fans, The Official Carrie Underwood Fan Club Party will also take place at the Opry that evening. Carrie made her Opry debut on June 10, 2005 during her first-ever CMA Music Festival. Visit Opry.com for tickets and additional information.
