Carrie collects first ever British Country Music Awards nomination
Country superstar Carrie Underwood inserted her worldwide dominance with her current Blown Away Tour — taking her extravagant staging, powerhouse vocals and chart-topping hits across the waters to the UK, Ireland and Australia. Last summer, in fact, the songstress performed her first-ever show at The Royal Albert Hall in London, with tickets selling out in under 90 minutes. Along the way on her 100-plus concert tour, Underwood has thrilled and impressed fans and critics, alike. Her phenomenal success has landed the singer her first ever nomination for this year’s upcoming British Country Music Awards.
The live awards show is set for Sunday, November 24, 2013. Voting by industry members in the British Country music scene is currently underway.
“I love the idea of a country music festival in London and I’m so excited that so many amazing artists are coming together for Country to Country,” Underwood had said at the time, as previously reported.
